An essential component of The Chapel’s mission to reach every man, woman, and child is to EQUIP and EMPOWER BELIEVERS TO DO THE WORK OF THE MISSION. One way that we want to see students in middle school and high school equipped and empowered is through a leadership development program called .
By getting involved with SLU as an adult, you will have the opportunity to
while you through the SLU program.

The SLU conferences are life-changing experiences in the lives of many students. But in order to continue to send students to SLU, we need a handful of committed college students or adults to .
As an adult leader at SLU, you will...
- Experience all the benefits of the SLU experience with the students - seminars,
guest speakers, training sessions, behind-the-scenes tours, and much more.
- Have access to special fund raising opportunities to help you get to SLU at little
to no cost to you.
- Be able to relationally invest into a group of students. This investment may last
for just a week at the SLU conference, or it may be a long-term relational
investment through a monthly accountability meeting with those students.
After attending their first SLU conference in Orlando, the students are required to participate in a monthly accountability group in order to progress with the SLU program. Throughout the course of the year, students will read ten books on leadership from authors Andy Stanley, John Maxwell, Gene Edwards, Randy Alcorn, and more. In these monthly meetings, students will discuss what they have read and learned, while keeping each other accountable in their goal setting and time management skills.
If you are interested in joining in on the mission of The Chapel and SLU to see students equipped and empowered through Godly leadership development, please consider attending an SLU conference with us.
